The reason is a video where Cassøe Krüth is seen riding her horse hard and whipping it twice.
"The decision has been made due to the rider's behavior in the video being incompatible with the DRF's values," the association writes.
Initially, the exclusion is temporary and will apply until a appeals committee has handled the case – after which a review of the decision will take place.
Cassøe Krüth has, among other things, a World Championship gold in team from 2022 in her baggage, and was intended as a reserve in the Danish dressage team at the Olympic Games in Paris. Just a few hours before the announcement of the team, she chose to withdraw, following a report to the DRF's disciplinary board.
Cassøe Krüth has previously admitted in an SMS to Danish TV 2 that she made a clear mistake in the video.
"The video sequence is from a training session in February 2022 and shows a clear mistake from my side, which I am very sorry for and deeply regret, as it absolutely does not reflect the way I train horses," she wrote to the channel.
