It was when Dahlén, who is selected for Tre Kronor for next week's Karjala tournament, took a shot that he was tackled in the head by Hannes Björninen at the same time as the Timrå forward followed the puck's path towards the goal.
"We will examine him closer during the morning. At present, we cannot provide more information," writes Timrå IK's team doctor Christian Rydin to Sundsvalls Tidning.
Dahlén's shot went in to make it 1–0 after 12.39 of the first period. Björninen was given a match penalty and Timrå got to play with a numerical advantage for five minutes. Then Emil Pettersson extended it to 2–0.
In the second period, Viggo Gustafsson extended it to 3–0 for Timrå. Örebro reduced the score twice in the final stages, but did not get closer than 2–3.
After four straight losses, Timrå now broke their negative trend before the national team break.
It's bloody nice to be on the right side with three points, says team captain Anton Lander to TV4 Play.
Third-placed Örebro had five straight wins before their home loss to Timrå.
