"What I see in next year's cultural budget makes me very worried," she says in a press release.
The cuts in support for study associations will force rehearsal rooms to close, according to the Chairman of the Musicians' Union. She also criticizes the lack of cost-of-living adjustments for concert halls and organizer associations, as well as a saving of 14.5 million kronor for "the infrastructure of the free cultural life".
"It is devastating and will lead to a significant decline in cultural offerings in Sweden, both nationally and internationally," she says.
