The incident occurred during the night against Sunday. A woman in her 20s is the plaintiff in the case.

"The suspicion concerns a "bodily violation", the least serious form of violence. Neither my client nor I are aware of the full content of the allegations and he has, on my advice, not yet commented. Therefore, I cannot say much more now", writes lawyer Öyvind Bratlien in an SMS to Norwegian media.

Marius Borg Høiby has no royal title and has chosen to live his life outside the spotlight. His father is Morten Borg, with whom Crown Princess Mette-Marit lived before she became involved with Crown Prince Haakon.

Borg Høiby's mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, postponed a planned trip to the Olympic Games in Paris on Tuesday. The Crown Prince traveled as planned. The royal family has not yet disclosed the reason for this.
