A board member of a golf club wanted to "putt in smoke". Therefore, he placed a Bengal firework in the hole cup when the company of twelve people was about to putt on the sixth hole at Finspång's golf course. Now he is suspended from all golf play for three months, reports DN.

According to the decision of the Stockholm Golf Association, he is not allowed to play golf on the course or exercise his board duties.

According to the verdict, the man has also admitted to firing some kind of rocket on the course. However, it did not cause any damage.

The club made a report of vandalism and the man later admitted and also compensated the golf club for the damages.

"Placing a smoke bomb in a hole cup on a golf course is such an irresponsible and unacceptable behavior that it is excluded to consider the offense as minor", writes the association in the verdict.
