The baritone singer Luthando Qave, the Cuban Latin jazz pianist Chucho Valdés, the Swedish pianist Robert Wells, and the Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno will all participate in the Uppsala festival Music in the Garden this summer.
The five-year anniversary festival will take place in the Botanical Garden on June 12-13. It will conclude with the Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés, who, together with the band Royal Quartet, will perform a tribute concert to Chucho Valdés' father, jazz musician Bebo Valdés, who settled in Sweden in the 1960s and also collaborated with his son several times before his death in 2013.
Both father and son have been awarded multiple Grammys.
