The Christian Democrats are making progress in the SVT/Verians latest opinion poll. The party's support stands at 4.6 per cent – the best since November 2022.
The increase of 1.1 percentage points is a statistically significant change compared to May.
This is a strong contrast to the Statistics Sweden (SCB) opinion poll last week, where the Christian Democrats had a voter support of 2.3 per cent, the worst figure ever in an SCB measurement.
What sets Verians' measurement apart from previous opinion polls is that it covers both the last week of the election campaign and a whole week after the election, explains Per Söderpalm, who is responsible for opinions at the company.
The Liberals are below the threshold for the 19th measurement in a row.
In the June measurement, the Alliance parties (The Moderate Party, The Christian Democrats, The Liberals, and the Sweden Democrats) receive 45.7 per cent of voter support, while the opposition (The Social Democrats, The Green Party, The Left Party, and The Centre Party) receives 52.2 per cent.
