The man has been suspended from his work since 2022, after several women warned about him. A police investigation was initiated following a report from the National Health Authority.

The crimes the man is suspected of are believed to have taken place between 2004 and 2022. The police have seized over 6,000 hours of video recordings. Female patients have, according to the investigation, been filmed while undergoing medical examinations at the clinic.

The women describe uncomfortable, boundary-crossing experiences. Among other things, the man is said to have given them "genital massages", writes Dagbladet.

The man himself claims to be innocent and that everything he did was medically motivated. According to the man's defense attorney, the case has been a "significant burden" for his client and his surroundings.

The trial begins in Trøndelag District Court on November 5.
