The Centre Party's climate plan is intended to begin implementation in the first 100 days in government and will be presented in its entirety by party leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist in a speech on Monday afternoon.
It includes, among other things, a plan to get more electric cars on the road quickly.
In addition to 90 percent of new car sales by 2030 being electric, 75 percent of all new light trucks and 50 percent of all new heavy trucks should be electric. The party also wants to broaden the electric car bonus, simplify and strengthen the climate premium for electric trucks, and scale up support for charging infrastructure.
The Centre also wants municipalities to be given the opportunity to introduce emission-free zones for certain modes of transport, for example to favour light electric trucks in city centres.
