It is now confirmed that the rock band Cast will be one of the supporting acts when Oasis reunites, writes The Guardian. It was previously known that Richard Ashcroft, the former singer of The Verve, will also be a supporting act before the Gallagher brothers' reunion tour in the UK and Ireland next year.
John Power from Cast says that he has known Noel and Liam for a long time and that he has been inspired by their music.
I am completely blown away by the reunion. Oasis is a whole generation's voice and the songs they wrote and sang were and are still the soundtrack to many people's dreams. They are the people's band.
Cast was formed in 1992 and has previously been a supporting act for Oasis concerts several times.
