Rapper C Gambino shot to death last night.

The 26-year-old rapper C Gambino was shot to death in a parking garage in Hisings Backa in Gothenburg on Tuesday evening. No one has been arrested for the murder.

In collaboration with producer Oscar Chase, C Gambino, who is a pseudonym, created a formula for efficient music in the borderland between hip-hop and soul. The debut album "Sin City" was released in 2022 and quickly made him one of the biggest names in Swedish hip-hop.

In his texts, he described crime, deadly violence, and social exclusion. Now he's been murdered.

Earlier this year, C Gambino was awarded the winner in the category of best hip-hop for his overall production at the Grammis gala.

The combination of Oscar Chase's production and C Gambino's ability to vary and utilize his voice as an instrument resulted in a major breakthrough, according to Petter Hallén:

C Gambino became, like many other rappers, known for always performing masked.

How does this affect the rap scene in Gothenburg and Sweden in general?

About four years ago, Einár was murdered. Now it's happened again. How do you see it?
