Social Democrats don't appear to be on the up, according to this evening's polling station investigation. At the party's polling station, it was pin-drop silence when the figures were presented – and shortly afterwards, jubilation.

The question is whether the Social Democrats will succeed in breaking the trend and increasing for the first time in an EU election. This is at least the hope for the participants in the party's polling station.

However, according to the polling station investigation, it was a narrow reversal, with a 0.4% decrease and still five seats.

It was pin-drop silence in the ABF house, where the polling station is being held, when the figures were presented. On the other hand, there was jubilation at the result for the Greens – the Greens appear to be increasing by a whole 4.2%.

According to party secretary Tobias Baudin, it is "clear that there is a left-wing wind blowing in Sweden".

TT: It was silent in the room when your results were presented, what do you say about that?
