The EU's foreign chief Josep Borrell is visiting Kyiv on Saturday to assure Ukraine of Europe's support following Donald Trump's election victory in the American presidential election.
"The message is clear – Europeans will continue to support Ukraine", said Borrell.
Trump's victory has created anxiety in Ukraine and in Europe since Trump has questioned the US's military and economic support to Ukraine.
"We have supported Ukraine from the start and during my visit to Ukraine I convey the same message: we will support you as much as we can", said Borrell.
