Björn Ulvaeus is sharing pictures from the wedding, which appears to have taken place in a lush outdoor environment, on Instagram. Dressed in a gray suit, he is seen alongside his new wife, who is wearing a lily-green dress and a bouquet in blue tones.
"Today, September 21, 2024, Björn Ulvaeus and Christina Sas from Herning, Denmark, got married. They met in Nuremberg in 2021, in connection with the release of ABBA's latest album "Voyage", and started dating in the spring of 2022", it says in the Instagram post.
Close friends and family were present at the celebration.
Björn Ulvaeus has previously talked about the relationship in Bianca Ingrosso's talk show. Then, he said he had been in love "several times".
When I was a teenager, it happened often, but it didn't count. But since then, I've been in love twice, he said in the program, reports Aftonbladet.
This is the third great love, he added about Christina Sas.
Ulvaeus was previously married to his ABBA colleague Agnetha Fältskog from 1971 to 1979, and later to Lena Ulvaeus from 1981 to 2022.
