The British novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford, who has sold millions of books worldwide, has died. She was 91 years old.
Her most famous book was her debut novel "A Woman of Substance" from 1979. The book was also made into a miniseries starring Jenny Seagrove and Deborah Kerr as the main character Emma Harte.
The book changed the lives of so many readers, and still does, says Charlie Redmayne, editor at Harper Collins, to Sky News.
Barbara Taylor Bradford grew up in England and began writing at the age of seven. For many years, she also worked as a journalist. Her novels have been translated into 40 languages and sold in more than 90 countries. Her latest novel "The Miracle of Love" was released last year, and was the third part in the series about the Falconer family. She is also known for her series about Cavendon Hall.
