A 25-year-old man was arrested during the night leading up to Thursday, suspected of attempted murder in Borlänge.
An alarm was received by the police at 00.23, and when the patrol arrived at the scene, a injured man was found.
This has occurred in an apartment in Borlänge and the injured man, also 25 years old, has been assaulted with a sharp object, says Torbjörn Roos, duty officer at the police.
The injured man was conscious when the police arrived, but was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The suspected perpetrator was arrested in connection with the crime scene and is now suspected of attempted murder.
The apartment has been cordoned off for technical examination and the police have seized some items.
