We have carried out a controlled detonation of the objects. People who were in the area have then heard two bangs, says police spokesperson Anna Westberg.
At lunchtime on Tuesday, the police were alerted that a person had placed objects at the site. Parts of Sofielundsvägen were cordoned off and a VMA was sent out to the residents in the area to stay indoors and away from windows.
The objects were grenade-like and were assessed as live. A decision was made to destroy the objects on site.
After they were disarmed, the large cordons were lifted.
There will be a smaller cordon remaining around the crime scene, says Anna Westberg.
A nearby school was initially evacuated so that the police could work undisturbed, but the students were later able to leave the school.
The incident is being investigated as an attempted gross public destruction.
