The police have neutralized the hand grenades that were found outdoors in Rågsved in southern Stockholm, through a controlled detonation.

Thus, the important message to the public (VMA) that was issued to the public for the current area has also been withdrawn.

The police's press spokesperson, Daniel Wikdahl, confirms that the cordons have been lifted. He also confirms that the suspected objects were hand grenades, which have now been destroyed.

The alarm came at 21 o'clock. A couple of hours later, the police decided to destroy the objects on site through a controlled explosion.

The incident is classified as attempted general endangerment and serious crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
