After an Olympic Games gold, one has earned a long break.
But on Thursday, just over two months after the Olympic Games final, David Åhman and Jonathan Hellvig made their long-awaited comeback.
The duo was back in the World Championship tournament in Brazilian João Pessoa, where they faced Argentine Bautista Amieva and Maciel Bueno.
But not even they could cope with the Swedish super duo. Åhman/Hellvig won the match in straight sets, with the scores 21–11, 21–18.
Next, they will face Czech Jakub Sepka and Jiri Sedlak.
