When the men were convicted in the district court, the prosecutor had missed requesting deportation.
However, it was included in the appeal, and now the Court of Appeal for Western Sweden is tightening both the sentences and adding lifetime deportation for two of the men convicted of aggravated rape, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
In total, four young men – between 15 and 19 years old – are convicted of aggravated rape of a child, after raping a minor girl in Frölunda, Gothenburg, last summer.
The two oldest are sentenced to five and a half years' imprisonment each and lifetime deportation, while the two younger are sentenced to ten months' closed youth care each.
