It will likely take a while before a new album with Adele is released.

I have no plans for new music at all, says the singer to German TV channel ZDF.

It has been three years since Adele released her latest album, "30", and she has no intention of entering the recording studio again soon.

I want to take a longer break and think I want to do other creative things, at least for a while, she says.

Long pauses between her albums are nothing new for Adele, who has only released four albums in her career, including her breakthrough with the album "19" in 2008.

The news comes ahead of the star's giant concerts this summer in Munich. A special arena for 80,000 spectators has been built at a large exhibition center in the eastern part of the German metropolis. There, Adele will perform ten shows between August 2 and 31.

It's the celebrity status that makes Adele plan to take a longer break, she tells ZDF.

I miss everything from the time before I became famous, most of all being able to be anonymous. I hate being famous.
