A 36-year-old man is being prosecuted for an explosion in a block of flats in March this year, according to several local media outlets.

During the night of 7 March, the powerful detonation occurred, causing extensive damage to the building. No one was physically injured.

The police managed to apprehend the 36-year-old on the same night, and he has been in custody since then.

The man is now being prosecuted for attempted murder, aggravated reckless endangerment, and serious offences under the law on hazardous and explosive substances. He is also being prosecuted for a minor narcotics offence, as he was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crime.

A 17-year-old boy, who is facing charges for three murders, previously lived in the house where the explosion took place.

The 36-year-old is also being prosecuted for a shooting at Tensta shopping centre in March in the Stockholm area.
