The charges are primarily preparation or instigation of murder, aggravated weapons offenses, and accessory to these crimes, writes the Prosecution Authority. Several of those charged are detained or placed in SIS-homes.
The accused have had varying degrees of involvement in the planned crimes that the charges concern.
"The investigation's success is based on a combination of very resource-intensive detective work, thorough investigative and analytical work, and successful use of coercive measures," says Chief Prosecutor Daniel Suneson in a press release.
The trial is scheduled to begin at Attunda District Court in early September.
