A 15-year-old girl has been arrested on probable grounds suspected of involvement in the murder of a high school-aged girl in Landskrona.
It involves both murder and kidnapping, says prosecutor Tomas Olvmyr to TT.
Another girl under 15 years old is still suspected in the investigation regarding the same crime. Since she is not criminally responsible, she cannot be detained.
Interrogations have been held with both girls, who have provided information about what happened.
Some confessions have emerged about their involvement. They have told us about the background and why it turned out this way. All three know each other, says Olvmyr.

We will ensure that what the girls say is true, that it's not a false confession and if anyone else was involved.
According to Expressen, the coast guard is conducting dives related to the murder investigation.

Considering detention
The girl under 15 years old is in the care of social services. The 15-year-old girl is currently detained. Olvmyr states that he will consider whether she should be requested to be detained.
Regarding the girls' attitude towards the suspicions, Olvmyr refers to their respective legal representatives. None of them have wanted to comment on the girls' attitude.

Was going to a pajama party
It was during the night to Tuesday that police found a girl under 15 years old lifeless during a routine patrol in an industrial area in central Landskrona. She died later at the hospital.
The murdered girl's mother has told TV4 News that her daughter was going to meet some friends at a pajama party in Landskrona on Monday.
