A queue for first-hand rental flats. Many municipalities have a municipal housing queue, and many landlords, both municipal companies and private ones, keep their own. You usually register online, sometimes for a yearly fee, and collect queue days from the day you join.

In the big cities the most popular areas can require many years in the queue, while waiting times in smaller towns can be much shorter. Register as early as you can, in several queues if you can, and follow each queue's rules for keeping your place.
