A woman in her mid-twenties was subjected to a rape in central Gothenburg during the night, according to the police on their website.
The woman was taken to the hospital for an examination. The perpetrator is said to have fled the scene and has not been arrested.
The area was cordoned off for investigation purposes, but the cordon was lifted at 6 am.
