A 17-year-old boy was shot to death on an open street in Norrköping last December. Now, a 20-year-old woman has been charged with the murder.

According to the police investigation, the woman lured the boy to a bus and tram stop in the Marielund district.

The meeting was about an item the victim wanted to buy, says the police's investigation leader Jan Staaf.

But the boy never got to buy anything, instead, he was shot to death with multiple shots.

An important part of the investigation has been surveillance cameras. In this case, we can see when the perpetrator is on their way to the crime scene.

According to Staaf, the woman had previously been in contact with people belonging to rival gangs.

We don't have enough evidence to prove that she had intended to do something similar, but that's our hypothesis, says Jan Staaf.

The woman is also suspected of an attempted murder in Norrköping last November.

Then, she allegedly shot through a door to an apartment where eight people were present. According to the police, it was just luck that no one was hit by the shots.

The crimes are linked to the violent gang conflict that has been ongoing in Norrköping since the beginning of 2023.

The woman denies the murder and attempted murder.
