The USA is introducing sanctions against twelve high-ranking employees within the Moscow-based IT security firm Kaspersky. This is according to the American finance department.
The sanctions apply to several operational managers, but not Kaspersky's CEO or the company itself.
The measure comes a day after the USA banned Kaspersky from providing its popular antivirus products in the country. This means that the company, amongst other things, will not be able to sell its software in the USA or offer updates to software already in use.
