The development was mixed on Asia's leading stock exchanges in the initial trading on Monday.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 index was up 1.4 percent after the lunch break, while the broader Topix index stood at plus 0.9 percent.
There was also a cheerful mood in South Korea, with the Kospi index at plus 1.3 percent.
In Hong Kong, the development pointed in the opposite direction, with the Hang Seng at minus 0.5 percent.
The composite indexes in Shanghai and Shenzhen also fell, they were down 0.4 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively.
