The director Ulf Malmros has been granted support from the Swedish Film Institute for the new feature film "Grannfejden", which he has also written the screenplay for.

The film is about Hanna who moves back to the countryside and gets caught up in a neighborhood feud between a former prime minister and his neighbor. Malmros has previously made films such as "The Best Summer" and "Slim Susie".

In total, 22 projects have been granted support from the Film Institute, including Joachim Trier's upcoming Norwegian-Swedish co-production "Sentimental Value", in which Stellan Skarsgård plays one of the roles.

Niki Lindroth von Bahr receives funding for "The Rose", a story about death that takes place at an airport, and Ellen Fiske for "I'll just cry a little first", a documentary about Charlotta who has quit her steady healthcare job to become a comedian.
