Two ships have been attacked in what is believed to be Houthi-led attacks in the Red Sea.

In the first attack, a ship was hit by two projectiles, while a third explosion occurred in the sea near the vessel. No one on board was injured, according to the British trade organization UKMTO.

Hours later, UKMTO reported a second attack off the Huthi-controlled port city of Hodeida in Yemen, where a drone allegedly hit a merchant ship. No casualties have been reported there either.

The Iran-backed Huthi movement, which controls large parts of Yemen and has attacked ships in the area since the Gaza war broke out, is suspected of being behind Monday's attacks.
