The police were alerted late on Saturday afternoon and later found the two dead bodies. A woman in her 40s was arrested at the scene, in a manner described as undramatic. The police tell Norwegian TV2 that the victims are the arrested woman's mother and brother.

According to the woman's lawyer, she admits to the crime.

She has given a detailed and thorough explanation to the police, and admits to the crime, says lawyer Jorunn Hegle Hovda to TV2.

The police also say that they have seized a weapon believed to be the murder weapon, but do not want to disclose what type of weapon it is.

Ski is located on the eastern side of the Oslofjord, along the E18 between Oslo and Sweden. There are around 30,000 inhabitants living there.
