At least three soldiers have been killed in a Russian missile attack on a Ukrainian military training facility at 21.30 on Tuesday evening. 18 were injured in the attack, according to the Ukrainian military.
"Despite the security measures that have been taken, it was unfortunately not possible to completely avoid losses among the personnel", the Ukrainian ground forces write on the messaging service Telegram.
An official investigation into the attack has been initiated.
"If it turns out that the actions or passivity of officials led to the death and injury of military personnel, those responsible will be held accountable", it says in the post.
