The football leagues have previously been broadcast by the company, where the matches were shown on C More. This time, it's TV4 and TV4 Play that apply, with Telia as part of the collaboration.
"We're heading for a new audience record for the second year in a row, and we can establish that the interest in Allsvenskan and Superettan is increasing for each season," says Sefs chairman Simon Åström in a press release.
"In that situation, we're both happy and proud to be able to welcome TV4 and Telia as media partners to Swedish elite football."
Allsvenskan and Superettan are currently broadcast by Discovery+ and they also own the rights for the upcoming season.
The agreement with TV4/Telia applies from 2026 and up to 2031.
"We will manage the trust in the best possible way and look forward to making comprehensive coverage and highlighting the leagues on all our platforms," says TV4's sports director Johan Cederqvist in a press release.
The agreement includes the digital broadcasting rights, and all matches can be seen on TV4 Play.
