The switch problem on the Iron Ore Line has been resolved. The traffic is back in operation, but with minor delays, according to local media.
The stop on Thursday morning concerned the same train switch that caused the derailment of a locomotive on the track on Wednesday.
The problem is now solved, and the morning departures have started rolling with some delays, according to P4 Norrbotten.
It was on Wednesday that a freight train derailed near Ripats. The derailment occurred during a switch operation. The traffic could be reopened during Wednesday evening.
