SMHI has issued a yellow warning for severe thunderstorms in the central Norrland coastal area from Härnösand to Piteå. The warning applies during Thursday evening and night towards Friday.
Very strong gusts from the Gulf of Bothnia and heavy rain can occur locally in connection with the thunderstorms.
According to SMHI, there is a risk of, among other things, disruptions to the power supply.
