A woman was seriously injured after a landslide in the Källötunnel near Tjörnbron, when a rockslide hit a car. Another person was slightly injured.
The bridge reopened at 15:30 on Saturday, earlier than expected, according to Göteborgs-Posten.
The accident occurred just before 23:00 on Friday evening and the cause of the landslide is believed to have been a lightning strike near the tunnel, which connects Tjörn to the mainland.
A man and a woman were driving in the car. The woman, who is in her mid-20s, is according to hospital reports seriously injured but not life-threatening. The man was also injured in the accident, but his injuries are less severe, according to hospital reports.
Tjörnbron was closed in both directions. According to the rescue service, the tunnel's condition needed to be assessed by experts at Trafikverket before it could reopen.
