The band Crazy Town's frontman Seth Binzer, better known as Shifty Shellshock, was found dead earlier in the week. Now, the coroner in Los Angeles has come to the conclusion that it was an unintentional drug overdose that took his life, writes NME.
"It's unfortunate that we lose so many people to addiction and access to dangerous drugs. Shifty's life was a tragedy. Too fast, too hard, too early", says the artist's spokesperson Howie Hubberman in a statement.
Crazy Town released their first album in 1999 and achieved success with the single "Butterfly", which topped the Billboard chart.
The singer struggled with substance abuse problems for a longer period and was one of the participants in the American rehab show "Celebrity rehab". He was 49 years old.
