This is how the married couples fare in the SVT series

After four weeks together, the moment has come when the couples in "Married at First Sight" on SVT must choose whether they want to continue being married or go their separate ways. And it becomes three yeses – but with some hesitation from some quarters.

For Adam Blücher and Elsa Månsson, who had a rocky journey from the start, it was not an easy decision to continue together.

I had a little voice in my head that already at the wedding said that this would never work, but I really didn't want to listen to it and gave it a try, says Elsa.

Adam also expressed that he got feelings for me pretty quickly, which contributed to the gap between us. And then came our fight on the honeymoon in Orsa, which wasn't fun for either of us.

But the couple sought help from psychologist Maria Farm, got the communication going, and not least the intimacy, which became a big topic in last week's episode where Adam, to Elsa's great satisfaction, "delivered".

It was top-notch and I was happy the day after, but I didn't think it would get so much focus. When I saw the episode, I felt, oh my god, this is going to be the only thing people will talk about. It was the only thing I talked about in the whole episode, so we actually had to edit it a bit, says Elsa.

Forgot about sex

Adam Blücher says he went into "Married at First Sight" with pretty low expectations and hadn't counted on falling in love with the girl standing at the altar.

The challenges in the relationship also made him almost forget that there was a physical dimension to explore.

I didn't feel comfortable taking it to the next level intimacy-wise when the relationship was so shaky. For me, it was important not to cross any boundaries without first landing in a common emotional security, says he.

Needed more time

In the end, the couple decides to say yes to continuing their marriage.

Of course, I had my doubts, but despite the challenges, we had some nice moments too, and it was those that I said yes to, says Adam.

We got close so late in the experiment that we actually needed more time to feel if it was something we wanted to stay in. It wasn't a straightforward yes, but I didn't want to say no and never meet Adam again, says Elsa.

Even two of the other couples, Nicklas Broberg and Ninni Larsson, as well as Andreas Eriksson and Selma Kamali, say yes to continuing their marriage.

Hector Lopez and Magnus Johansson, on the other hand, decide to break off the relationship prematurely.

Next week, SVT will broadcast the program "Married at First Sight – what happened next?", which follows up on the time after filming.

Nicklas Broberg, 34, project leader, Örebro, and Ninni Larsson, 26, real estate agent, Täby. Say yes to continuing their marriage.

Andreas Eriksson, 26, teacher, Järvsö, and Selma Kamali, 27, hospital administrator, Malmö. Say yes to continuing their marriage.

Elsa Månsson, 27, consultant, Göteborg, and Adam Blücher, 30, lawyer, Stockholm. Say yes to continuing their marriage.

Hector Lopez, 40, music teacher and dancer, Stockholm, and Magnus Johansson, 46, sales manager, Stockholm. Break off the relationship prematurely.
