Employees at the swimming pool in Karlskoga worked 28 days too much per year. Their incorrect schedule was discovered when Kaj Jensen, chief safety representative for Kommunal in Karlskoga, reviewed the employees' working hours and salaries in another case, writes Kommunalarbetaren.
For at least ten years, the employees at Strandbadet had an incorrect schedule where work shifts were distributed over too many days. The work shifts were short, but too many. Seven of the employees will now, together with Kommunal, share a compensation of 378,000 kronor from Karlskoga municipality. They will also receive new schedules with fewer working days but with longer work shifts.
Some think that the change has been tough, but the majority is probably satisfied that it has become right, says safety representative Kaj Jensen to Kommunalarbetaren.
