In the beginning of August, a ten-year-old boy drowned at Skara Sommarland. Now, the Consumer Agency is initiating a supervisory case against the facility, reports P4 Skaraborg.
At bathing facilities, the Product Safety Act applies, and it is based on this that supervision is carried out.
Richard Staxler, investigator at the Consumer Agency, says that they will, among other things, examine the preventive safety work, routines for surveillance, how they handle high visitor pressure, rescue equipment, and the staff's competence.
