A five-year-old boy died in connection with a drowning accident in Boden at the end of July.
The accident occurred in a private pool and a preliminary investigation into causing another person's death was initiated because the circumstances were unclear. Now, the Prosecution Authority announces that the preliminary investigation is being closed.
"We have a very good picture of what has happened and how it has gone. Together with the police, I have investigated the actions of several people and come to the conclusion that none of these can be suspected of criminal negligence", says senior prosecutor Jonas Fjellström in a press comment.
