There was no Norwegian participation in Tuesday's Christmas tree flight over western Sweden. Now, parts of the flight have been completely cancelled, reports P4 Göteborg.
The Skaraborg air wing flew over, among other places, Skövde in the morning, while the passage over, among other places, Göteborg in the afternoon was cancelled due to bad weather.
The Norwegian air force, which was supposed to participate for the first time, had to cancel already before the flight started, which P4 Väst reported on Tuesday morning.
This is the first time the Nordic neighboring countries are participating in the Defense's traditional Christmas tree flights.
On Monday, Blekinge air wing flew with the company of the Danish air force over, among other places, Copenhagen. On Wednesday, a joint flight over northern Sweden and Finland is planned together with the Finnish air force.
