Swedish premiere of Rossini's comic work from 1816, where youth triumphs over patriarchy. Based on Carlo Goldoni's play "Marriage through Advertisement".
12/7 "Orpheus and Eurydice" at Vattnäs Concert Hall, outside Mora.
Premiere of this opera classic from 1762 about Orpheus, who retrieves Eurydice from the Underworld. A journey into the inner lives of the characters, directed by Niklas Hjulström.

One of Handel's most famous operas about great emotions and inner conflicts, directed by Helena Röhr. About being shaken by deep love and deep betrayal.

World premiere of a new opera by Anna Einarsson with libretto by Magnus Florin. About female pioneers around the turn of the last century. A time travel about social rules and their consequences.

Newly written opera by Josef Zetterberg Pihl. A power and passion drama in midsummer in a industrial town in the 1890s. "The White Bridge" is also Pihl's very first own work.
3/8 "Armide" at Drottningholms Slottsteater.
Tragic baroque opera by a French artistic team and Drottningholmsteatern's choir and dancers. Performed in French with Swedish text on a screen.
30/7 "My Daughters" at Dala-Floda Operafest.
A newly written "opera in folk tone" that revolves around the witch trials in the Dala-Floda area in the 1600s. About how trust and care turn into fear and cruelty.
