He should have straightened this out. It's not a hot dog stand you're running, says Left Party MP Karin Rågsjö to DN.

According to the newspaper's investigation, the Government Offices have recruited 150 positions via an iPad in the reception in Stockholm since 2020. To access the screen and be able to apply for the jobs, a pass card has thus been required. Many have only been applied for by one person, who subsequently got the job, according to DN.

The arrangement ceased in connection with the scandal surrounding former County Governor Anna Kinberg Batra, who was subsequently forced to resign, among other things after having recruited via a message in the reception.

I was very surprised when I learned about the news this morning. I realize that these positions have likely gone to friends and acquaintances, temps and those the authority already had in mind, says Rågsjö to DN.

The Government Offices write in an email response to DN that "not all employments need to be advertised" and that the authority has followed the labor law regulations.
