A man was seriously injured during a fight in an apartment and a staircase in Hägersten in southern Stockholm during the night towards Tuesday.
The man, who was stabbed and seriously injured during the fight, was taken by ambulance to hospital for care. The injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
On the spot, the police arrested another man in his 35s who was detained by a prosecutor during the night, suspected of attempted murder. Several people are said to have been in the apartment and the police are now trying to map out what has happened.
The crime scene has been cordoned off and a technical investigation will be conducted on Tuesday.
We have brought in two people for questioning and we have seized a knife, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police.
