Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard (The Moderate Party) comments on Ebba Busch's (Christian Democrats) statements about Israel after the government demanded that the EU freeze the trade agreement with the country. I represent the government's line, says Malmer Stenergard in TV4's Nyhetsmorgon.

This is a very difficult conflict, and each party gets to have its own questions that they drive. I represent the government's line, says Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard to TV4.

Furthermore, she says that the government's policy is "coordinated and clear".

The government has been criticized for being divided when it comes to its stance towards Israel and its warfare in Gaza. After demanding that the EU freeze the trade agreement with Israel – to increase pressure to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip – the government has been criticized by representatives of, among other things, The Christian Democrats.

I share that criticism and think that there is reason for it, said Deputy Prime Minister and The Christian Democrats leader Ebba Busch to TT then, and added that the government's decision last week gave too "one-sided focus" on Israel.

The Green party has reported Busch to the Constitutional Committee after the statement.
