The last elephant at Pretoria zoo in South Africa has been released and moved to a reserve by an animal rights group.
The 42-year-old elephant called Charlie was released from the zoo on Monday after several years of negotiations between the animal rights group EMF and the South African government.
The elephant was taken from its herd in Zimbabwe when it was around two years old and was sold to a circus and later came to Pretoria zoo in 2001.
EMF is now also trying to persuade Johannesburg's zoo to release the three elephants that are there.
