The group buying out "Hot ones" for the equivalent of 904 million kronor from Buzzfeed includes the host himself, Sean Evans, and Soros Fund Management, an investment company owned by billionaire George Soros.

"Hot ones" was launched in 2015 and involves the interviewer Sean Evans inviting famous guests to answer questions and taste increasingly hot chili sauces on chicken wings.

With the sale, Sean Evans and his partner Chris Schonberger's company First we feast takes over the production of the episodes, which will continue to be broadcast on Youtube.

"Hot ones" has several spin-off series and even its own sauce brand, which is sold in grocery stores.
