In a speech at the Green Party's municipal and regional days in Borås, spokesperson Daniel Helldén (MP) says that there is much talk about where the party "is headed on a national level".
Intensive discussions are underway about future government cooperation and what our alternative to the sitting Tidö government looks like, he says without going into more detail about what kind of discussions are taking place.
It is almost exactly one year since Daniel Helldén, with the smallest possible margin, was elected as the new male spokesperson after Per Bolund.
In the EU election that followed, the party received 13.8 percent of the votes and secured three seats in parliament.
Even after the election, we have much to be proud of, says Helldén, referring to an opinion poll from Demoskop from earlier in November where the party received 7.5 percent.
He says that the Green Party has a "big job" ahead of it.
Ahead of the 2026 election, this is a time of gathering and planning, a time when we develop and sharpen our political arguments.
Correction: In an earlier version, there was an incorrect formulation about the discussions on government formation.
